Stephanie Rosemary

Stephanie Rosemary is a young mixed Latina girl who lives a simple life as a barista for a cafe. Since she was young, Stephanie has had issues with her balance and suffers from mild to moderate vertigo. This doesn't affect much of her life, but she tend to take things slowly as to not overwhelm herself. 

She is the youngest child with an older half brother named Robert, with a single mother. Her and Bobby often bickered, Bobby picking on her and she being too small to stop him. Since her childhood she has been close with a boy named Maurice (who later becomes her boyfriend). 

Steph has always had a passion for coffee and brewed drinks, making coffee for her mother as early as 9 years old. While she is chastised for not having bigger dreams than local starbucks barista, Steph maintained her dream job as a very successful barista, even owning her own cafe. She ends up getting a degree in customer service management and became a mixologist to broaden her skill set beyond non alcoholic drinks. After graduation, Stephanie bounced around several barista and bartender jobs before she was scouted by Hazel Marley, a rich daughter of a business conglomerate who wants to run her own cafe. Offering Steph a decent wage for an entry level barista position, she takes it without hesitation.

It's soon discovered that the cafe Steph works at is right next to the company building Maurice works in. After the two left for college they didn't hear from each other much besides on school breaks, since they both went to different schools far away. Once they rediscover each other the two regroup and meet much more often and reconnect. It's not long after they rekindle that Maurice manages to ask Steph out, and they begin dating.
