Elizabeth 'Lizzy' Crane

• When drawing Lizzy unless Shade is in the image with her she casts no shadow of her own!
• Lizzy will always be wearing elbow length gloves, she does however own them in many colours and styles so feel free to match them to her attire.
• Lizzy is just a human teenage at the end of the day, her clothing changes on a daily basis, please just keep it in darker tones [She favours blues and purples when it does come to colours]

Describing Lizzy in a few words is difficult, if asked she classes herself as a 'Heroic Thrill-Seeking Occultist' whereas most people would describe her as 'That Weird Jaded Witchy Kid'.

Lizzy is one of the 'special' kids who's imaginary monster as a kid somehow ended up real [More information about Shade below] and because of him she's been thrown into all sorts of odd adventures protecting the 'normies' throughout her life so far. - Dealing with things such as the MiB, Aliens, Fae and their realms and on the odd occasion travelling to the sub-realms of hell. As a kid these adventures were always exciting however now Lizzy’s gotten a little cocky about life, she's been there, done that, got the shiny artifact and made it home in time for dinner.

Alongside all of this, and with the knowledge that eventually Shade will leave, (Afterall, no sane adult has a Monster!) Lizzy has been slowly learning how to deal with Occult herself, leading her down the path of Witchcraft and Occultism

Appearance

Shade is made of Shadows and Smoke, any detailing actually only tricks of the light. He favours an almost Grim Reaper-esque shape when he is seen, usually including a giant Scythe.

Personality

Shade has always been at an imbalance between going out to see the world but also keeping Lizzy safe, as both him and Lizzy have grown he’s slowly becoming more jaded about the normal world, preferring the excitement of the Shadow Realms and Fae lands. He is also developing a jealous streak as Lizzy turns to working out more stuff about the Supernatural etc. by herself rather than leaning on him as she did as a young child.

Favourite Things

Although Shade can use his teleportation to move around, he favours finding natural ways into things. He loves a puzzle and has taken a liking to the Escape Rooms that have been popping up around the country.

Way To Hide

Shade is Lizzy’s shadow most of the time but he can hide among natural shadows as well.

• Lizzy owns a 'Argentum MultiSpectral Megablaster Mark 5' - A laser weapon that she 'borrowed' from an Alien who was hunting the Werewolf in her class. She's gotten quite good at using it in times when Shade is a little busy.
• Lizzy has a collection of jewellery that she has collected over the years, often as mementos of her travels, for example, the collection contains pieces from both the Shadow and Fae realms. Often the pieces are made out of strange and unknown gems which is what Lizzy is drawn to. Her favorite pieces however are a Bloodstone talisman Rae bought her and a small silver and blue locket Annie got her for her 16th Birthday
• Lizzy broke her left arm several times within quite a short space of time, she eventually learnt to defend her left better. However, her arm never had a chance to heal properly and she continues to occasionally have movement issues if she bends it a certain way

Annie is the younger, better behaved of the Crane siblings and also would be classed as a 'Normie' but Lizzy absolutely adores her and will do pretty much anything to see her sister kept safe.

Ex-Girlfriend

[Taken from the RPG description page, needs updating] - Rae and Lizzy dated for just over a year between the end of Yr 10 and the summer before starting Sixth form. It was Rae who introduced Lizzy to Spellcraft and the associated skills, with Lizzy in turn showing Rae places such as the Goblin Markets. The couple parted on fairly bad terms, however, after an incident with an evil Witch coven at the end of the Lower Sixth year the pair seem to be on friendly terms again.
