Backstory

• Futuristic/advanced AI, originally born of a classified government  program trying to develop military androids to eventually replace human  infantry
• Robots developed by the program were not intended to be sentient  beings capable of a full range of emotions on par with humans… but they are. Oops.
• Sol is one of two separate prototypes deemed “failures” because of  their disinterest in cooperating - basically, he was too chill for their  malicious purposes
• Ended up escaping the facility and spent two years wandering about a  desert before running into and forming an alliance the other robot, Delta

Personality

Extroverted, adventurous, brave, risk taking, silly, loyal, supportive,  affectionate, stubborn, straightforward, takes things literally,  sometimes obtuse, can be clumsy, doesn't know his own strength

Build/info

• His facial display and body LEDs emit light (the orange parts). The  brightness of the face display varies depending on mood and energy  level. The facial features are slightly dynamic in response to emotions.
• Sol is a heavyweight robot with superior strength and defense, at  the expense of agility. He excels at offensive roles and straightforward  objectives.
• To improve mobility, he is equipped with a compact short-range jet pack that aids his vertical jump and minor aerial maneuvers.
• His primary weapon is a crudely painted assault rifle nicknamed the "Tarantula".
