As a nobleman’s wife, she feels restricted by her status, and thus is incredibly attracted to the idea of a rugged, badass adventurer making her own way in the world. Whenever Kali is in town, she sneaks out of her mansion to see her. They spend long nights together just catching up and sharing stories. Kali will offer up her home to her, and she will inevitably refuse.

While the thought of Kali’s wild life is fascinating and eye-catching, her home is safe. There are never vicious monsters or thieves like in the stories Kali spins, there’s steady income, access to luxury... Kali promises her everything that she wants, but Elya still can’t fully believe that she will actually do it.
