Mako 'Fishstick' Surfcutter

He was found as a babe at the edge of the shore near a small coastal town. The villagers, assuming he was some sort of demon child, brought him to the local priory in hopes the governing bishop could exorcise the spirits from him.

The Bishop quickly realized the boy weren't anything of the fiendish sort and took him in as a ward, raising him into a mild-mannered young man. The locals slowly warmed to seeing him around town and he earned the friendly nickname Fishstick, since his appearance is that of an aquatic creature.

He eventually became a devotee of the church, seeking to earn the title of Paladin. The Bishop sent him on a mission to traverse the land, realizing his adopted son should explore beyond his home village if he ever wished to embrace the wisdom of the Gods.

He's currently on a quest to finalize his Oath of Devotion, and hopes to make the world a little brighter of a place. He's a bit naive, as is any young adventurer, but seeks to try his best.
