Over kill
About
Mr. Sinister decided to make the utimate form of mutant evolution by combining key members of the X-Men into one being. This project consisted of the DNA of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Gambit and Colossus. His obsession with the X-Men kept this process up for a decade but as he grew closer to the team and realized taking them down wasn't the answer, he threw his project aside. The boy was called "Project" before being named "Rott" around age 10 because of the experiment's failure. It was deemed useless and was not allowed to leave the building. He let it do as it pleased as long as it didn't get in the way.
Not knowing what to do, Rott continued in his studies of combat and power control but being left to himself, nothing really progressed past a certain point and many abilities were left inhibited. He wasn't taught any basic elementary teachings such as reading, writing or mathematics. He managed to teach himself some reading, writing and numbers but maintains no more than a second grade level on all. After he turned 20 and pushed back against Mr. Sinister more and more for freedom, he dumped the boy off at the Institute, leaving it in their hands. They took him in and he started training and attending classes like a normal mutant student. The DNA owners came together to see who would be his legal guardian because he couldn't have that many people to go to when his world was already so confusing. It was decided Cyclops would be the best option. Scott gave him a name and "Rott" became Liam Summers.
"You think you're so logical but you're barely making sense. You can't change what's set in stone or what's inside your head."
Combat
Holds a wide array of mutations and learned abilities he is training to properly use in combat. Though his multiple talents sometimes trip each other up, he's learning how to live with them.
Abilities
Right eye emanates heat based optic blast. Left eye holds hypnotic influence. Telepathy. Telekinesis. Healing factor. Enhanced strength. Enhanced senses. Hypermobility. Organic steel areas hold enhanced endurance. Two organic steel claws in left hand. Teleportation. Prehensile tail. Weather control. Kinetic energy control.
Visor
He is mostly seen with a solid block of Ruby Quarts over his right eye but can sometimes be seen with a thinner appearing visor or eyepatch.
Backpack
When not in combat, he can be seen with a black JanSport backpack.
Personality
Thanks to his origins, he has much to discover about himself. Rott has uncovered a fondness for bright colors and loud imagery. He tried dying his hair red but his mutation made it different shades in the range of red to orange. It didn't make him appear more normal and this upset him. He's much like a child when it comes to the outside world except the world of cinema. He had access to this in the complex and watched many, many movies. Rott's life is currently a lot of experiments and adventures.
CLEVER | COMBATIVE | IMPULSIVE
Has reclusive tendencies as he's not used to a lot of people's presences. Since he was treated like a walking trash pile of DNA growing up, he has a very low opinion of himself. He kept up with his personal training and aspired to be as useful as possible in his former situation for fear of his creator "throwing out the garbage." Anything he could do to help, he did. He kept up with his original training to hopefully carry out his purpose. Deep down, he only wanted validation and love. Deadpool would come over to Mr. Sinister's house and supply him with both. Confusing at first but it became something he longed for. Uncle Wade was warned not to baby the experiment and ignore him but that wasn't something Wade was capable of doing. Thanks to him, he grew with a small amount of love in his heart that fostered a young man who could possibly do good things with a bad start.
Design Notes
- 3 digits on right hand and 5 digits on left hand. Has 5 digits on each foot.
- When teleporting, he leaves behind a bright orange smoke.
- Right eye remains covered or closed because power is uncontrolled.
Likes
- Vibrant colors; especially gradients. Prefers ones with orange.
- Using his powers to go to Wal-Mart, fill a basket up with stuff then teleport it out. He finds this very exciting. ^^
- Sunflowers.
Dislikes
- Very crowded areas. Telepathy is a pain when it's uncontrolled.
- Not being able to go outside.
- Hot tea.
Trivia
- He is becoming good friends with one of his brothers. They both were very quiet and didn't fit in, coming from very different backgrounds.
- Finds Cyclops' car to be beautiful in nature but doesn't understand why he loves it so much.
- Chose Cyclops as his advisor.
- The image on left was photographed when he and his brother snuck into Emma Frost's closet and tried on her clothes. Their photographer friend made them look like models. This is his favorite memory to date.
- He is being taught by a private tutor to learn the basics such as reading, writing and elementary maths, sciences, history, etc. Before this, he tried as hard as he could to keep up with his own studies, having a backpack full of beginner's writing utensils and a cursive flipbook. He wrote in red marker because it was easier to hold and steady the lines (he currently still does).
