Background 
Tom was originally made as a vessel for a beloved cat that has recently passed. The cat's name was Tomas, however the soul that entered the body wasn't Auto's cat. Granted the soul had similar mannerisms to the dear tabby Tomas so it took Auto a while to realize that a human soul had entered the body. Of course Auto was upset but soon they became friends and Tom still lives with his maker to this day.
