Nae Sukoshi

Nae grew up without her parents, drifting from house to house; even trying to run away a few times. Despite always being praised for her looks, it seemed no one wanted her. When she turned 10, she wanted to become a Pokemon trainer in order to escape her life but arrived too late to claim one of her own. Not wanting to return to the group home she was last staying at, she started traveling on her own despite the dangers of doing so without a Pokemon.

Living her new life as best as she could, she didn't get far before she had to start resorting to stealing from others. Because of this Nae was constantly moving all over the mainland between the different regions, even up to the point that she heard about the land of Etryae.
Pulling off her last big steal to get what she needed to start a new life; Nae got a fresh new out, a Pokemon egg and a few Pokeballs. Though the latter ended up being empty.

Hatching her Slowpoke just before arriving on Etryae lead to her taking the job of Fisher, despite having no real knowledge of this, knowing that Pokey could do all the catching for her.
