Shadow

shadow, or shad for short, is a rabbitlike experiment creature who was kept in an induced coma inside an incubation chamber. after a young orphaned magic discovers him and incidentally deactivates shad's induced coma, shad convinces magic to let him free. he has a sort of curious affinity for magic since then, and is a companion for him when magic has no one else to talk to. after finding out about magics dream to become a magician, shad offers to help him.
