Vern

Vern is a hardworking and diligent butler, who wishes for no more than his master's happiness. He does not associate close to "outsiders" unless he has the permission to, or has to. He is a level-headed man who will not jump to violence and remain civil.

He isn't all goody two shoes as he appears. He often makes bold moves or claims, which would get him in trouble as a butler. Yet, he is one sly butler. Despite so, Vern is courteous and remains loyal to the very end, or until his serving time is up with his current master.

Deep down, he is self-critical of his actions. He feels as if he's not doing enough for his master even if they are content with his service. Vern tries his best to make any improvements on his work, but it may backfire on him one day.

Vern rarely goes out of duties as he sticks to his master like glue, at least until they need space of their own. When he does have freetime, he is seen idling in the library or buying groceries from stalls. He continues to retain his formality as a butler out of town.
