Widely known for his successful cases, Edmund was a high profile celebrity amongst demon hunters and a large reward target amongst the demons.

In one case, Edmund took on a powerful demon himself, a powerful hunter versus a powerful demon. However, both were truly at euqal grounds as they both fought but both never gave up. In one last powerful attack on both sides, they both fatally wounded each other to the brink of death. Edmund slowly accepting his end of his career and life itself wakes up in an adbandoned facility in one piece. Or at least most of him.

The demon's blood boils against his human body, trying to snap his bones and stretch his muscles apart. His left arm spasms, almost as if it's trying to rip itself apart from his body. At one point, Edmund believes that the arm is close to breaking off, before the sensation quickly dies down and he regains control.Edmund quickly looks down at his body and quickly searching for a mirror, seeing in horror and shock at his new arm and the demon's blood coursing through his veins. Not wanting to waste any mroe time, Edmund looks around to find the person that healed him (or cursed him) but to no avail.

With a defeated search and getting acustomed to his new body, Edmund leaves the facilty to find more clues about his savior while also trying to find a cure about the new life he's given.
