🚨 Scammer alert 🚨
Hii there guys! It's been a little while, i hope everyone is doing well!
I've been dealing with some health issues last year but i'm finally getting somewhere!
I hope to get in track with my art sooon and to hopefully have a fruitful 2026 ❤
the reason to make this bulletin isn't so happy though! T-T
 
so getting straight to the point:
i got to know someone over discord is selling a character made by me that isn't theirs

I gotta confess i was warned last year that someone were advertising her among other characters but i totally forgot about it, and it's the very same person. She probably just changed the user since both accounts were created on Sep 21, 2023. This person is the known scammer Juli Bates, she owned this character once and tried selling her to multiple people years ago aswell.
And the phrase i highlighted lmao ?? she is insane 😭The first person to buy her (and to contact me about it, so i could remake her th profile) were @TheLegendOfLiu. If you see someone selling any of my characters without a th profile or a profile that is not linked to me pls let me know! It can happen but pls don't trust anyone doing it right away. And pls be aware this scammer is out there! She used to scam artists aswell so no one is safe 😥

Soooo, being completely honest it's an subject i should have addressed and also should have added to my adopt rules a long time ago. I used to ocasionally be asked
 if my adopts can be sold as a co-own and i'd always respond as it's prefered not to do it. And those who asked always respected it. The thing is recently it's been
the second time i get a notification here on th of someone crediting me for a co-own profile, without being warned about it beforehand. Obviously i can't complain about it at all,
cause i didn't have it written down on my rules. When i wrote the rules co-owns weren't so popular and i wanted to keep it minimal (virtually, the only thing i ask for is being
credited for the initial design), but it's my fault for not updating it. Anyways, it's complicated...cause if i allow them it will be unfair for the people
who asked me beforehand and i gave a negative response right? As for now i think i'll just not accept the credit requests and the rules will soon be updated.



Now regarding why i don't feel comfortable allowing co-owns 😿 they are a great way to make designs more accessible, but the thing is many of my designs
aren't on the expensive side. I always do auctions starting from $15 usd, and sometimes they're even sold at sb. It's all based on luck. Plus, i doubt it would have a positive
impact on my actual sales (it's more likely the contrary would happen) and i don't think it's fair to me as an artist and a worker too cause altough i love making designs on
the end of the day it's also a kind of labour as any other. And maybe one of the biggest reasons to me is that i love to look at my own and other artists design tab, to me they're like a
timeline that shows how our way to design have been changing/evolving over time, and also work as a reference of what me and my peers have been making lately.
And man looking at the design tab of artists people do too many co-owns of the designs sucks, to me it's not enjoyable at all.
