Nessie

Nessie is a great mage, it has always been easy for her to call forth the powers of the great ancients and tap into the overflowing pool of aether inside herself, there was only one small problem tho... No matter which spell Nessie wished to cast, or what element she tries to control, all magic that flows out of her body end up being necromancy, so if she wants to conjure fire, some small zombie raises from the ground, if she tried to bring out water it would be in form of a putrid poisonous pond, I will not even start telling you what had happened when she tried her hands at healing magic... 

It's obvious that Nessie was seen as a bad omen and requested to never use her "magic" anymore, but she couldn't accept that! She loved magic and she could feel it in her body that magic liked her too! So even if everything that comes out is necromancy, Nessie didn't care! Sure, it bothered her a bit but she loved her little zombies and pet skeletons even if they were ugly and no one wanted them around, it was because of this unavoidable conflict between Nessie's interests and the town's people that made her decide it was time for her to leave, she wanted to grasp a better understanding of this powers she had, believing that if she was able to fully master necromancy, she would be able to control when it will come out, kinda of unfortunately for her, Nessie's bond with necromancy would run a few levels deeper, every kind of magic has it patron and it's them who help the mages with their spell-casting, so, the fact is that the patron of Necromancy took a liking to Nessie, and they are 'kinda' possessive so they don't allow any other patron close to Nessie and that is the reason why she can never cast any other spell. Nessie eventually understands this but instead of feel bothered by it, she would feel flattered because a great patron likes her so much (she has a great innocent trait to her personality so she doesn't see any bad in the patron of the dark art being so interested in her that borders an obsession, she may even find if cute... Or maybe she is the obsessed one towards them... who knows XD)
