Appearance:
Roy has a pale skin color, brown hair, and greyish blue eyes, he has some light freckling on his nose which becomes more after being in the sun for a while, and has a small dent in his chin. He always wears his key-necklace/cleric-spell focus, as it's physically not possible to be separated from him. Roy generally wears dark clothing, white shirts, or clothing in hues of green and blue.
From years of adventuring and physical exercise, Roy widened out quite a bit from his originally slender build, he has become a little heavier as he does far less intense physical exercise now and is still a bit of a foodie/sweet-tooth. He has a firm layer of muscle behind a soft layer of pudge aka a fit dad-bod. He's covered in tattoos and still has the mark of his Patron on his back. Roy has removed most of his scars.
Personality:
Kind/friendly but became more reserved after many years of travel were being too kind and too trusting could get you or others you care about in danger, a lot calmer and more collected than his younger self, can still get anxious about stupid things but has become a lot less insecure, still quite talkative, still a nerd, stay-at-home-dork-dad, kinky son of a bitch, got a lot better at being around a lot of people, but still prefers alone time or time with his family. Still tries to help when possible, mostly by healing sick people or animals/cattle, but has cut himself and his family off from any adventure and/or dangerous problems, there was a time for that, and now it's time for us to live our life, which is perceived by some as selfish.

Flaws:
Still loathes large bodies of water, is still slow (low dex), somewhat overly protective of his family but is working on it, Slowly improving PTSD and which comes with Sleep/Anxiety issues, He still dislikes fire-based magic.
What’s his deal (older Roy) :
Roy used to be an adventurer when he was younger, a cleric/wizard serving an ancient god, after specializing in abjuration magic and graduating from Rohan's School of the Arcane Arts. He started traveling when he was about 24 years old. He adventured for 10-13 years and eventually married and settled down around 40 to enjoy the "calm life".
-His wife, Dahlia, was his friend for years before they married. She used to be a vampire and met her on his travels.
-After settling down, Roy started writing and illustrating his own children's books, which are based on his own adventures, but made kid-friendly and became a well-known writer under the initials R.C.H.
-Dahlia and Roy adopted their oldest son Erik when he was about 4 years old. About 2 years later they had their daughter, Natasha, with a Tiefling woman called Vex and another son, Samuel, about 20 years later.
-Currently, he’s a stay-at-home dad caring for Sam and his home and a part-time Writer/Artist/Animal-Vet/Weird magic guy that lives in a tree.
Why did Roy become a Cleric, how did he experience it?
Roy was contacted by his patron at the age of 24, through a “dream”/vision. They offered Roy help in finding his life's purpose after failing magic school.
At that time, he was still attending magic school, specializing in Abjuration. The transformation of becoming a cleric was overnight, and he left his school the next day, on the road to adventure.
With a key around his neck, a marking of the deity on his back, and the power to heal.
Random extra's:
- Roy speaks 7 languages, Common, Elvish, Dwarvish, Infernal, Giant, Draconic, Primordial, and is able to lip-read. (half-elf + background + being a knowledge cleric + feat: observant)
- He calls Natasha his little devil as she doesn’t like to be called little princess.
- He’s overly protective of his daughter, which annoys her. (So she occasionally calls him mom instead of dad to annoy him back.)
- He really loves abandoned homes, temples, cities etc.
- At the beginning of his journey he owned a raven and a wolf, at some point, he also owned 40 ducks... Now he owns, dogs, a cat, chickens, goats, some ducks, and horses.
- He's a skilled horse-rider.
