Jaiyana is the second born Princess of the King. She stepped down from royal duties to follow her dream of slaying monsters and protecting her Kingdom. The King always keeps a watchful eye on her, making her a part of the Royal Knights to ensure her safety. Little is known of her relationship with her siblings as she gets uncomfortable when talking about them. She admires her father's ability to rule over the entire kingdom, while still making time for those close to him.
It took Jai only two years to convince her father to let her train under the knights. She was already young when she learned to fight with a dagger, and her father truly believed in her learning to protect herself from a young age. He agreed to let her travel and fight with the Royal Knights so long as she didn't wander on her own and listened to direct orders. Jai travels with several medicinal pouches as she dabbles a little in magic and potions. For conflict, she much prefers to fight with a blade - up close and personal.
Jaiyana's Kingdom has an abundance of Lapis Lazuli - perhaps that's why she grew up with this gemstone being her favorite. She embeds the gemstone into everything she can - her dagger, her cape, and anything else she wields. The cape she wears is a comfort item - reminding her of her home when she's off travelling on the long road of adventure; it helps her have courage in these monster-infested lands.
