Appearance

Cloud is a blue-grey great horned owl with dark slate grey and white markings. The underside of his wings are notably lighter blue-grey with the same color markings. His beak and legs are dark grey and his talons are nearly black.

Usually he wears a blue plaid cloth tied around his neck as a scarf.

Personality

Cloud is the sort of creature who rather do other things than the things he’s meant to do. So being declared a Knight has instilled a sense of responsibility in him that he somewhat resents. But he strives to be mature and accept his duties, even if he doesn’t want to do them. He likes it when the spotlight is on him and sometimes shows off when it is. He does appreciate being able to flaunt his Knight title.

History

In his youth, Cloud lives in the farming village of Toseeka with his parents and near his extended family. He discovered his powers young, when he snuck out of the house one misty morning to try to fly. It might have ended badly if the mist hadn’t cushioned his fall. His parents assumed this to be a standard ability and didn’t question it. Dapple visited one week in their late teens and he met her, falling quickly for her. The pair became an item and often helped the village with their combined powers. This tipped off Kodiak to something interesting afoot and visited to investigate. He confirmed they were Knights and invited them to Starreacher’s. Cloud was somewhat disappointed, rather than the expected pride, but went along, as he was in no position to refuse.

Skills

As the Mist Knight, Cloud displays a wide potential of use of the Mist element, not hindered by one single ability. His magical reserves are also seemingly endless. He rarely uses his element aggressively and doesn’t even carry a weapon, inside using it for stealth and mobility.

• Cloud was first conceived in 2012 as a cat but was changed to an owl in 2015.
