He has a brother named Bayu Purnama. Killed during a demon attack.
He swore to get revenge on that specific demon, the demon was branch from Gluttony demon and he swore he will kill all demons that he see in his way as well.
He wasn't a perticularly good shaman, still being consumed by rage, he quickly choose a quick path by selling his soul to Wrath Demon thus gaining ability of Ajian Rawa Rontek, with a deal that he could hunt all demon except demons from branch of Wrath.
Gaining such new power without learning how to control quickly making him losing himself, his hair turned white in process, luckily a veteran shaman helps him gather his senses back. Knowing that the boy has sold his soul to the demon, there are nothing they can do except help Bambang to control his mental and teach him way of archery as part of his rehabilitation.
He soon get into part of Shaman Organization in West Sumatera branch, under the veteran shaman's reccomendation, he could join without problem. Still holding his oath to hunt the demon that killed his brother, he quit the the branch and move to south, joining another branch of organization still looking track of perticular demon. He quit again and then move to Java specifically to Central Java to the current Shaman Branch with Burhan and soon Samsul joining in the crew.
