Shadow

Shadow is Olin's oldest, and probably his only, friend. 

Shadow was once the most handsome of the clan, but He was so loyal to Olin that Farren scarred him up for not telling him where his son went- When Olin ran off with his secret lover, Sharon. 

Someone might argue that he is still pretty handsome, but in his clan, Excessive scars are almost like badges that announce weakness rather than glorious strength. a few scars may show strength, but Shadow has scars all over his body from Farren, almost like social castration- for a lack of a better term.
