ABOUT
Honeyhawk is an aggressive young tom with a past shrouded in mystery. Tending to be closed off to others, most who have met him prefer to keep their distance. It is unclear as to what has caused the tom's sour attitude. Maybe with the right touch, some cat will figure out the puzzling past locked away inside this tom's stone heart.

PERSONALITY
Honeyhawk is, in general, not the most pleasant of cats to be around. He has an abrasive personality that tends to rub other strong-willed individuals the wrong way, and while he does not actively seek discourse, he will not back down from a fight. The tom has little tolerance for foolishness or arrogance, and typically has a hard time getting along with cats who are too easygoing or careless. He is very fair, and does not exercise bias or make assumptions about others. However, once he has made a judgment, it can be very difficult to change his mind. There seems to be something darker to him than meets the eye, though...
APPEARANCE
Honeyhawk is a dappled cream and ginger tom with striking blue eyes. He is large in stature, standing roughly 10" tall at the shoulder. Large in size also are his paws, his hind pair slightly bigger. He has a bulky cream pelt with a ginger belly and darker paws, and a fluffy cream tail. His face is also pale in color, save for a patch covering his nose, and ginger fur just below his eyes. His ears are wide and tufted at the ends, adding to his bird-like shape language. Perhaps most noticable are his vibrant, teal-colored eyes, which are almost always narrowed in a glare.

Not much is known about Honeyhawk's relationship with his immediate family, except that he was particularly close with his uncle, Agave. It is unclear whether he is simply uninterested in pursuing romance, or just hasn't found the right cat yet.

HISTORY
I. PRE-RP
Honeyhawk's mother and father were both of rogue descendance, named Holly and Wasp respectively. Born under the name Honeysuckle, the young tom had two sisters: Marigold and Jasmine. The family of five lived together, as did Holly's brother and Honey's uncle, Agave.
Wasp and Agave did not get along in the slightest. Constantly a power struggle between the two toms, Honey's only exposure to toms were the aggressive encounters between the two. Holly was always a good, kind mother to her kits, but her sheltering only protected her kits from the world for so long.
Once the children were more grown, their father and uncle began to teach them the true hardships of the world. Survival skills like hunting and combat were taught by their mother and father, but Agave taught the young ones about other cats—how to intimidate, lie, and barter. While Wasp and Holly saught to raise their children to follow honorable values, Agave saught to teach them what he called the truth.
"[LOCKED]", the tom would always say. Those words stuck with Honey, swallowing whole his heart and mind.
Nearly two winters had passed when Agave told Honey about the clan cats. The stories confused Honey, for how could a whole group of cats submit themselves to such a rigid, lawful life? After much talk between the two, Agave and Honey had decided it would be best for Honey to seek out this clan, so that he might [LOCKED].
Not long after, Honey departed from his family. This was not unusual, for the entire group of siblings dispersed, ready to forge a new path for themselves in life. As if it were planned, it took Honey only two days to run into Eelspots and Heavyclaw, two cats gathering others to join up with BluffClan. Honey was no fool, and took this opportunity as if it had been served to him on a silver platter.

Spidersilk served as Honeyhawk's temporary supervisor when he first arrived in BluffClan with the other rogues. He has developed a limited respect for the she-cat, having learned that despite her flirtatious antics she did have some sense of responsibility and dedication to her duties. For now, he finds her carefree attitude a bit too annoying to pursue further friendship, and only seems to strike up conversation when he has questions about clan life.
Honeyhawk first met Meadowpaw when she was a kit, and he had yet to gain membership within BluffClan. His pre-existing disdain towards kits did not improve following their interaction, for he found that she embodied just about everything he dislikes about kits: entitled, arrogant, and oblivious. The two have not directly interacted since, and needless to say, he is in no hurry to change that.
Despite having known one another for a short time prior to joining BluffClan, the pair have barely interacted at all. He has yet to make a proper judgment of her character, but does have a few thoughts: that she is too quick to trust, but also that her ability to adapt to new surroundings with such ease is admirable. It will take more time for him to develop any substantial opinions on this she-cat.
Honeyhawk is drawn to Heavyclaw's quiet nature, finding appreciation for a cat who doesn't ramble. After seeing the tom bring a large fish back to camp, he began to respect Heavyclaw's hunting ability, even going as far as to compliment the older warrior's skills. He is interested in getting to know the tom better.
