About

Conrad Summers was 13 years old when his father's beaten and lifeless body was found floating in the lake outside of town. With little to no leads, and no known motive for the case, the late Detective Saffron Summers' wife, Nora Summers, was subjected to being blamed and the main suspect of the case. Her depression eventually spiraled out of control, causing paranoia that led her to believe that this world was out to hurt her and her family. She took Conrad and attempted to drive them into a tree, to free them. In her state, Nora genuinely felt she was doing what was best for her and her son. She felt this is what she could do to protect her son from an awful world. He managed to pull the wheel before the crash, succeeding in saving himself...but failing his mother. Within no time at all, Conrad had become orphaned.

And it was all that culprits fault.

Conrad went into foster care, though he wasn't particularly close with his foster families. Once he turned 18, he began taking the needed steps to becoming a detective. His father's case had gone unsolved, and he needed to put this case to bed for his own sanity.

He did solve the case, but learned many horrible things along the way. His father, his idol, was a two timing scumbag living a double life, and secret lover had, rightfully, had enough when he learned the truth. If only he had come clean, though, his mother might have been spared. But worst of all...if his father had just been loyal, or expressed his unhappiness in the marriage if his sexuality was the reason for the secrecy, Conrad wouldn't be alone anymore. He came to despise the memory of his father playing happy family.

Now life is very much a day to day thing. Never quite filling the void left behind, but used to pretending all is fine. How can people trust in him to help them if he's down in the dumps? He really does want to help people, but who's going to help him?

Little did he realize the person who would change his life was about to drop a camera on his head.
