Rykiel Barnaby Blackmore
Appearance
Rykiel is remarkably handsome and tall. He inherited his looks and charms from his mother, particularly his loose, but never messy blond hair. He held his prim and proper image to the highest degree, believing that one's appearance is the best way to let someone know of your status.
Personality
On the outside, Rykiel is seen as someone who has a thirst for knowledge and would not hesitate to share them with others. He's kind, wise, and smart, and everyone loves him; the professors, his fellow prefects, the students. He's active in pursuing his studies and is dedicated to his job as prefect and the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team's captain.
Behind doors, Ricky is bitter, manipulative, and jealous. His love for knowledge is still true, but he would always try to one up people and aspire to be the best of the best. He acts nice and helpful to the ones who idolize and look up to him, when in reality he would bitterly insult them behind their back for their lack of selfhood. When given competition, Ricky would do absolutely everything to win, as it would damage his pride and reputation if he lost.
Ricky usually is composed and self-possessed, very much in control with his emotions and the way he present himself to the public, but he never fails to lose his temper whenever anyone joked about frogs and toad being "the same thing, "tomato-tomato". He will berate them and throw insults at them for being a "dim nitwit".
Background
I. Ricky
Being the only son born from a wealthy, established pureblood parents made Rykiel Blackmore the center of attention in any parties his parents demand him to entertain. He's always very much well-groomed and well-behaved, making others spoke of how jealous they were of his parents for the perfect House of Blackmore heir. Rykiel greedily absorb all of their lovely comments and praises, always very much hungry for attention and love that were absent from his own parents.
Ricky always works hard to get the best result from anything, wanting nothing more than his father to tell him that he's done well. Barnaby's praises, however, was as rare as a phoenix bird. Ricky could count with one hand how many times his father has ever complemented him since he was a toddler.
II. Family
Rykiel's father, Barnaby Bennett Blackmore works at the International Magical Office of Law department in the British Ministry of Magic. He is the head of the House of Blackmore, and a Hogwarts graduate sorted into Slytherin. Barnaby is a hard-working, stoic, reserved man who has a commanding presence, oftentimes even intimidating Rykiel.
Rykiel's mother, the illustrious French-born actress Roxanne Roquere-Blackmore married Barnaby shortly after graduating from Beauxbatons. Many believed she has drops of Veela blood in her, but it was baseless rumors that she did not care to dismiss, as having the public dig to her ancestry would reveal that she's from an outcasted side branch of a distinguished French wizarding family. She holds great pride in her son's image and would constantly fuss over his looks and academic achievements as the Blackmore heir, but overall she is a distant mother. Despite her indifference towards Rykiel, she very much adores her husband.
III. Hogwarts
Rykiel was at first nervous, being away from the comfort of his own home and his parents' protection, but also excited for a new adventure. He arrived at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters with his childhood friend Conan, and met the excitable Ollie in the train to Hogwarts, promptly buying the two snacks as an offering of his friendship (but monopolizing the chocolate frogs for himself). He was dejected as the sorting ceremony concluded, given that the friendgroup all ended up in different houses.
With his charms and conversational skills, however, he would later make many friends and followers alike. He became addicted to praises and attention from his professors and peers, always pushing himself to do everything that he could to achieve their approval. Without even thinking twice, he would throw away his own health and well being in exchange for higher position and grades.
Rykiel quickly picked up on Quidditch and became enamored with the sport, even wishing for one day to play professionally. He became the team's Chaser on his third year and eventually took the position of captain on his fifth.
As Ravenclaws do, Rykiel excelled in his studies; preffering challenging, text-heavy classes such as History of Magic, Study of Ancient Runes, and Potions. His least favorite subject is Divination. Much to his classmates' surprise, Rykiel also greatly enjoys the Care of Magical Creatures subject, never missing a day of class since his third year.

Conan
Rykiel's childhood friend. They met in a party hosted by Conan's father, who is Barnaby's best friend and roommate back in Hogwarts. The two bonded over their fascination with magic, and cannot wait until they enroll at Hogwarts together.
Ollie
Rykiel found the brash, loud Hufflepuff as an interesting fellow. He began chatting Ollie up when they met in the train, oddly finding many common grounds with the Irish young wizard.

House
The Blackmore manor is located a distance away from the heart of the city. The victorian-style manor is surrounded by a large, beautiful garden, courtsey of the matriarch's numerous gardeners.

Ricky is far more familiar with the wizarding world, but there are times where he would visit his friends and relatives that live among muggles.
