Jetty has atlantean physiology (can breathe underwater, handle pressures that a human can't, swim faster than a human, enhanced vision and hearing, etc). Her favored ability is hydrokinesis, and carries around flasks of water to manipulate into weapons or use to form protective "bubbles" over herself or others. She can also pull small amounts of moisture out of the air and form platforms to glide on as a set of water-based aero discs. In excange for her advanced hydrokinetc powers, she cannot communicate telepathically with aquatic lifeforms, nor can she withstand the more intense pressures that most Atleanteans can. Though she is too young to fully understand, Jetty is able to tap into The Clear, or force which connects and pervades all aquatic life, in order to shape water as she does. Eventually, she will be able to generate water entirely on her own and will master the art of hydropathy, or water-based healing.

Atlanteans are the native race that inhabit the content of Atlantis. Not to be confused with the similarly aquatic race, merpeople, the modern Atlanteans are descended from both ancient human and homo magi ancestors whom suck below the ocean along with the fabled continent and evolved to survive their new environment.

Jetty is the yin to Red's yang, and her relentless optimism and cheery nature balance her friend's bitter cynicism perfectly. After meeting thanks to their status as honorary titans, the two girls became super best friends after discovering their shared love of getting into superpowered trouble. Red keeps Jetty grounded, and Jetty helps Red feel like she can still enjoy life and take part in teenagery things. The two are inseperable friends that share everything and trust each other completely, with Jetty eventually sharing an apartment with Red once the atleantean decides to go to "human college".
Jetty has taken it upon herself to help take care of Lola, and though they've only known each other for two years, she considers Lola to be family. She often takes Lola out to go skating and get some ice cream, and does her best to instill good habits in the lil witchling.
Blue's habit of scooping up superpowered youngsters extended to Jetty, and though she's more of a big sister type, she acts as Jetty's legal guardian. Jetty thinks Blue is super cool and is her #1 resource for surface world etiquette, and though Blue has no idea how Atlantis works, she's always willing to lend a hand or League resources any time Jetty needs it.
Jetty considers Garth to be a big brother figure of sorts, helping her connect to the titans as well as navigate the complicated world of surface-dweller interaction. Though she prefers to do most of her training on her own, she does tend to ask him for help when it comes to water shaping techniques, and deep down she'll always be a teeny bit jealous that he can talk to turtles and she can't. He still pronounces her name closer to the Atlantian way (ghe-ti), and she often forgets to call him "Aqualad".
Bonding over their similar dialect and confusion over human customs, Jetty finds Starfire to be the toughest titan and admires her spirit and positive attitude. Sh's always wanted to have a girls night with Starfire (and Raven I guess) and is always excited to try Starfire's "funky" Tamaranian foods.
Having a soft spot for anyone big and huge, Jetty thinks Cyborg is very cute and she finds everything he does to be super fascinating. It's none of her business, but she thinks he should really be the leader of the titans because he's so smart and cool and strong and shiny! Plus he knows where to get the best food in Jump City! Wow!!!
Initially "enemies" (though Jetty resents that term) on opposite sides of the law, their relationsip as foes turns to more of a playful "you thwart me, I chase you, we have a great time and maybe get a burger inbetween?" game of cat and and mouse. Well, cat and fish. Sort of an unspoken friendship thing! She feels that there'smore going on with him than simply being a shouty brute, and wants to cut the hero/villain shtick for a second and just talk but she can't. Knowing that her friendship with HIVE is inappropriate, given his fondness for villainy, Jetty keeps most of her thoughts on the matter to herself...but hopes to find an "in" someday.
