Gavriil

terrible terrible ballet boy. gavriil is incredibly mean. he's pretentious and an insufferable perfectionist when it comes to his (and everyone around him's) dancing. most people don't like him because he's very blunt to the point of bullying someone. he's not very friendly and he doesn't try to be, especially at work. his fellow dancers are his coworkers and he's not there to make friends. they think he's awful, but they have to respect his skill.

gavriil's family is extremely rich, and he's the oldest of 6 siblings. he was totally a trust fund baby, and his parents wanted him to be the heir of whatever their business was, but he was never really into that idea. unfortunately his parents definitely dug themselves even more into that hole because when he was a child they let him take ballet lessons. they figured he'd hate it or wouldn't be good at it, but he was very talented and had a passion for it from the start. he stuck with it and ended up going to and graduating from an extremely prestigious russian ballet school. he got a position in a ballet troupe almost instantly, and he moved out as soon as he could because naturally his parents were really pissy about him being a dancer and literally always rebelling against everything they've wanted him to do. he ended up getting a better position in a troupe in america, so he moved there and convinced his younger brother to move in with him not long after, because their parents didn't really like him either :/

he practices constantly, and is always stretching even at home. he has to ensure that he's always as limber as possible. he's flexible to the point of almost being a contortionist.

when he practices on his own he often does a mix of female and male routines, just because he likes the variety.

he's a total health nut because he has to be in top shape. he's very very very very strict about what he eats.

unlike most men, he dances en pointe. he thinks it looks better, and definitely looks down on other men who don't do it too.

he has heterochromia! his left eye is brown, and his right eye is blue.
