genderless and sexless

their "skin" seems to be made of stone but when touched, is malleable like dough, and has a soft pillowy furry texture, though no fur is to be seen
eldritch to the extreme
face does not move or change expression, much like a mask
doesn't speak much, but when it does, it's very soft and unintelligible to most untouched folks. sounds like many voices speaking over eachother and saying different things, but all the same basic idea.
comes to those who have a price they have yet to pay
the billowing sleeves and wings seem to be apparel, but it is flesh. ew.
when struck, flesh becomes hard as stone, and when cut, the area around it shatters to pieces, yet the sphinx is unfazed
face is indestructible by the weapons of mortals
