He became a private eye to find her, and a bounty hunter to get revenge on the vampires that turned her.

Adrien used to have a modest life. He was a correctional officer that lived in a meager apartment with his daughter. It was just the two of them against the world, and he wouldn't have had it any other way.

A new prisoner had been transferred just a few days ago. Uncontrollable and volatile, he would lash out viciously at anyone around him. The only one that could deal with him was Adrien, but that didn't stop him from spewing the harshest threats at him.
Threats were typical, they were normal. These, though, sent a chill down his spine.

One day the prisoner broke out, leaving a trail of blood behind him. Adrien was tasked to keep the prison under control...
... Until he got a phone call that the trail lead to his home.
He raced over and burst through the broken remains of the door as quickly as he could, seeing the prisoner biting the neck of his daughter. He tried to stop him, but he disappeared, taking her with him, cackling that she would become a wonderful vampire.

Just like that, Adrien had lost everything. He quit his job and dedicated the rest of his life to rescuing his daughter, and making that vampire-- ALL vampires pay.

Sarcastic to a fault, he keeps his distance from others, which, combined with his focus on his hunting, makes him oblivious to people flirting with him. He's a cold man that doesn't like to mess around and hates when things stray from his plan. Tends to get into Papa mode when around people nearly half his age or younger.

Drawing Details: Adrien has a scruffy appearance with a beard and loosely brushed back, greying hair. He wears a tight-fighting, navy blue or smoke gray button-up with the sleeves rolled to his elbows. He has gun straps over both shoulders, and beige pants with brown shoes.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- If there's a criminal he can track down quickly, he'll take that bounty. Otherwise, he purely hunts monsters.

- It took a LONG time for him to come to terms with the idea that not all monsters are bad.

- Can't confirm that his daughter his a vampire. Would honestly prefer that over her being gone.

- Man loves his micheladas.

- Claims that he can make a mean bowl of chili. Is always looking for an excuse to cook some.

- Used to always tell his daughter dad jokes. Has a habit of letting one slip when drunk.

- He and his wife divorced a few years after their daughter was born. He won full custody.

- Has accepted cases of people getting kidnapped by vampires, and has been able to solve most of them.

- Smokes when stressed.
