Crimson ♡

Crimson was born in one of Weyland Yutani's labs for experimentation. At the time, Crimson was a xenomorph warrior and he was being used to see if Red xenos were stronger than regular xenos, as both species possess the same strengths and weaknesses. Crimson hated being a test subject, and knew he was being used. Though like most of Weyland's laboratories, the xenos escape and it's infestation time. As the Xenomorph infestation was growing, there needed to be a new queen. Crimson was the strongest warrior at the time and the most ready to take on this role. So once he set himself up in a cocoon like structure in a (supposedly) safe area, he can evolve himself into a Queen. But the Colonial marines were already swarming the nest, and there wasn't much time before the entire nest was destroyed. Crimson interrupted his own evolution process of turning into a queen, to save his own life. He made it out, injured, (hence where his scar came from) but very much alive. But since he interrupted his Queen process, He's stuck being a praetorian. Now he's just kind of wandering around on unknown planet, killing whatever prey he can find.
