Chaz Cassidy is a cryptobiologist who lives and works out of coastal Maine.
They are outwardly very friendly and outgoing, although they can be blunt, Chaz is generally well meaning. They can be easily excited or flustered, having a lot of excess energy, they are also very physically affectionate.
Chaz is intersex and trans feminine.
Physically, they are quite tall and muscular, although they have a tendency to develop a bit of pudge around their midsection. they have dark eyes, and black hair that greyed prematurely around the sides and back, and tanned, freckled skin. On their left hip is a cluster of birthmarks that resemble a crown.
Chaz has 3 siblings, one older sister and two younger brothers. Chaz left home shortly after graduating high school, seeking out independence and control after their childhood friend Phoebe Stroud left the country abruptly.
Chaz spent most of their time training in veterinary work, interning here and there. At their current station, they do most of the general checkups of the reserve animals and monsters, as well as vaccinations and herding them to different areas in the event of brooding or pregnancies.
They also give biology lectures at the local colleges, and train interns in the field.
