Backstory:

Wixie was in Berlin when when bombs dropped and everything changed. Soon, after the bombs dropped, what was left of the military rolled in to secure Berlin as a place for any survivors. It became a safe place to stay, but a place full of very strict rules for the survivors to follow under the military's guidance. Eventually, Wix decided she didn't like the way that the military ran the city, and decided to leave. She became a traveler, traversing the land with her handy frying pan.

One day, Wix would meet their first traveling companion soon after leaving Zues. He was a kind and helpful man, and the to got along exceptionally well. But unfortunately for Wixie, there was a whole other side she would not see in him before it was to late. It was a dark and gloomier (than usual) night when the two set up camp. Wixie was feeling calm as per usual when she went to sleep, only to feel a sharp sting in her side hours later. Awaking from the pain, Wix found herself bleeding out with her companion's knife in her side, with him, and their shared supplies, gone. After months of traveling together, all at once the person Wixie trusted most robbed her blind and ran away. She was sure he meant to hit a vital organ, but luckily, he had missed. Either way, there was no way she could go after him with a wound in her side. She was terrible at bandaging and healing, so she wasn't even sure she'd live til morning. However, an unlikely savior would come her way and mend her side for her. This unlikely savior was none other than Marylin, a known mercenary in the area. Marylin stayed with Wix that night and informed the young Wix, who was only 17 at the time, about how cruel this world actually was. She should never put as much trust as she did into anyone as she had into her traveling companion, unless she could ensure they could be trusted. How? "Trust can basically only be guaranteed if you save their life," Marylin told Wixie. In the morning, the two would depart with Marylin's words embedded into Wix's mind and heart.

Wix traveled alone for another several months until she would find a random and armless man in the middle of the land, near Gasfuel Station. He was bleeding out from his severed arm and passed out. Seeing herself in this older man, she dragged him to the safety of a near by cave before it would become night. She did her best to bandage his arm and waited for him to wake up. When he awoke, the two decided to be each other's traveling companions from now on after they had a long discussion. Remembering Marylin's words, since Wixie saved him, she finally felt like she met another human being she could find trust within again. The two have been traversing the land together ever since, helping out one another along the way.
