A tank frontliner with a wicked sense of humor and a general disregard for those in power. Buckler has always been a sucker for the quieter things in life - as eccentrically as some might say she approaches them - and puts a high value on those close to her. She takes no shit, knows more than one way to mess up someone's day permanently, and has a sharp intellect that is mostly left unattended on the sidewalk but comes out to play whenever Buckler's ready to prank, be suprisingly frank about deep topics, or just blow some shit up.
Buckler and Decker are in the same frontliner unit for most of the war, and they bonded immediately over bad breakups and being general powerhouses in a good old fashion brawl. They had a brief fling at the beginning of the war - like super super brief - but treat each other like ride-or-die bros.
When Buckler saw Firestarter, sparks flew and her whole world lit up (literally! the whole building got blown to smithereens. And Buckler helped her do it; they were part of the same mission to blow up that building actually, but that was the first time they'd really crossed paths). It was amazingly romantic. Even Decker said it gave him a second-hand tooth ache just hearing about it. From that moment forward, the two were inseparable; everybody knew they were head over heels, soulmates even! And the level of chaos they got up to together, the sheer number of skulls they cracked fighting side-by-side? Simply meant to be.
