During full moon nights or sometimes when heavily injured he loses control of himself. The transformation saves him from dying, but he often ends up injuring or killing innocents, which is something he struggles a lot with whenever he comes back to his senses. He never intentionally wants to kill anyone. The lycanthropy is rather recent, and he has a bite mark scar between his neck and his left shoulder from it.
