Censored tentacles. Yes the censor bar is part of the mark. His special talent is tentacles, both drawing them in art and dealing with the actual monsters in the everfree forest that have tentacles. Turns out some fruit and some kindness is all it takes to turn a rampaging monster into your new best friend. He draws many different things for a living, but his speciality is things involving tentacles, both in the horror sense and the nsfw sense.

Wears glasses. Has a line of freckles going around his cheekbone on both sides. His mane and tail are always up in a bun, but he himself can't tie his hair into a bun. He needs to get the help of a unicorn or someone else willing to lend a hoof to tie it up for him, usually this ends up being Rarity, the spa ponies, or Sweetie Bell. Wears glasses. Has a line of freckles going around his cheekbone on both sides. Often wears a bag of his art supplies on his flank to cover his cutiemark when walking around town, as a lot of ponies have a problem with seeing it. A lot of ponies feel uncomfortable around nsfw themed cutiemarks, and parents have yelled at him before for walking past their foals and making them wonder what the mark could mean. The CMC have helped SoftStrokes become more comfortable with his mark though, and while he still often hides it just to avoid confrontation, isn't ashamed of it anymore.
