Mason

Manager of an independent coffee shop called Caffeine Lover, Mason is 38 years old and speaks with a thick cockney accent. She has a rough exterior, often seeming unimpressed, but is quite kind-hearted and values decency above all else. She treats her staff well, and does her best to ensure they enjoy working there. Caffeine Lover is outside the city centre so not too busy, but enough so to warrant a fair few more staff members. She gets along well with her niece, Phoebe, who provides her with weekly deliveries of fruit. On the other hand, she is not so friendly with her brother, Phoebe's father, condemning his transphobic treatment of Phoebe.
