Cave comports himself in a strange manner; brazen and a coward, educated but ignorant, scaldingly frank but a grifter. In short, he is what most might consider to be contradictory seeing as he is, in fact, every single one of the above things.

It's hard to say what specifically his nature is besides he has an inate compulsion to mess with the needle of peoples' readings on him.

His past largely remains undisclosed; he will admit he grew up with only his mother, a well-studied warlock. Despite holding her in a near-reverent light, he won't speak much about her beyond that, saying she helped teach him what he knows now. Cave isn't sure where the roots of his magic lie beyond that, though. It is deep and volatile and didn't seem to come from years of study, but rather, years of study were what refined it. He favors spells that distort reality, warp his own image, or create apparitions. Besides this, he seems to have an aversion to objects made of iron or iron alloys.
