Kagune is a Ghoul breed pony - a creature that feasts on the flesh of other ponies in order to survive, and can also wield biotic weapons at will. His concept is based heavily on Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul. He used to have moral dilemma with eating flesh, but eventually something within him snapped, and this issue melted away.
