"Hello. I'm Arch- I mean Dr. Canesworth. Er well, you could call me call me Archie if you wanted to... Ah um...I am unsure what exactly I am supposed to say, so I'll provide you with a few small details about myself.
I just recently began my work on the Chasmic project as a field researcher. Though, I've been working here a few months before this, um,,, Oh! I also happen to be one of the heads of, the currently unnamed, Paraseye Project. I have always been fascinated by the Chasmic Forest there are so many wonders to be explored. In fact as a small boy I would try to... well... sneak into it, Ah! though, my attempts never got me very far.
Uhm... I'm able to gain legitimate access now, And I must say it is surpassing my expectations. There is so much unknown about this place and new information seems to raise more questions. I feel fortunate to have made it as far as I have, and though there is a high chance that I'll... That I might not return, I am very happy to be here learning what I can about the forest and all it's inhabitants."

BACKGROUND
Archie is a curious, if somewhat awkward individual. He is very well meaning, but he does tend to get a bit carried away when it comes to monsters or magic. He also has a habit of bombarding people with questions, so arcane individuals and strange creatures this is a warning.

Story Info
Archie works as part of the Demon Hunting Organization focusing mainly on manipulation of magic and creation of tools to assist demon hunters. He spends much of his time fiddling with this or that experiment,though he often spends late nights in the lab doing who knows what.
Though his official experiments focus on utiliing prepackaged magic as weapons or deterants, his true focus is less above board. He has taken up an interest in reproduction of the soul. Though this may seem a dubious undertaking, His intentions are pure. He means only to find a way to help convert demons into less malicious beings. Through the creation of a soul a demon may be able to lose their need to devour "authentic" souls. Thus freeing them from being hunted.

Experiments
Artifical Soul
One of his main (secret) projects. A rather dangerous undertaking. What will it take to effectively recreate a soul? What composes it?
Anima Lure
A lure for demons, utilizes elements of his artifical soul expiriments. It uses magic to attract the attention of demons.
Magi-Mute
(Wip may be scrapped) This Device reverses the polarity of magic, leading to a negation of it's effect to... various effect. It is still in the prototype phase.
Golems
Each of these are imbued with magic in an attempt to recreate a soul. They also serve as lab assistants. :)
Unnamed expiriment
This device, originally intended to resonate with the soul, Instead acts as a magnet depending on the polarity it'll attract or repel.

Archie is a resercher in the arcane sciences. He's been interested in the myths and the magic they granted the world since he was small. Now that he's grown he devotes much of his time into tracking down current traces of magic, hoping to one day return it to the world, even if in a small way.
