Tage

History

Tage was born and raised within the city of Imperos, specifically in the Rioggan district. Having been raised by two fathers who adopted and cared for her as their own. Her parents were both extremely knowledgeable in the field of science and human research, Tage knowing little of their personal work, but never really bothered to question as it didn't seem too important. Spending a bulk of her childhood as any other normal human being would; she excelled in sports activities... however her grades were average and nothing to really rave about. Her parents were incredibly supportive of her athletic endeavors and due to their considerable income they were able provide her with anything she asked of.

Though her life changed tremendously due to her parent's foolishness; they had their own at-home exclusive lab quarters that was always kept locked in order to keep Tage out of the dangers of their personal work. One day leaving it unlatched as the young girl aimlessly searched for her parents to sign some school documents for her up-coming year. Having unintentionally knocking over a set of vials that lined one of the many tables, in a panic she began to tend to the mess, worried her fathers would punish her. In the midst of the clean up she pricked her finger on the broken glass, allowing the strange substance to enter her bloodstream, thus infecting her with the IGV microbe.

However, her abilities went unknown for many months... It wasn't until she succumbed to a severe injury via sport that her parents realized what had happened to their daughter. Her wounds healed over night, proving she had an extreme healing affinity. They chose to keep this a secret, explaining to her the severity of the situation, as many humans feared her kind and what they could do.

It wasn't until her late teen years she was informed of her parent's profession; they conducted experiments and helped aid the process that began the IGV outbreak of Imperos city. Hysteria ensued once one of the many labs was raided by the Cobalt Swords, causing her fathers to go into hiding. And in return for their safety she agreed to take a position within the secret society that was the Ebony Vipers. Using their covert assets to gain money via the gang leader's requests; using her funds to aid her gambling addiction and preserving her parent's security in one of the many off-the-grid housing quarters of Rioggan. They still attend to scientific research to which Tage uses to help the Vipers gain the upper hand.

Power: "Immortality"
Weakness: Tage has what she calls the power of Immortality; she is not impervious to illness, nor age. However, injuries of any kind are safeguarded by her IGV ability. When faced with punctures, stab wounds or broken bones she can recover faster than a normal human. If impaled and left with a large blunt object still cemented within her body, her form goes limp, unable to properly move if at all due to her body attempting to recover its original state. Sizable foreign objects within create an internal panic, causing her system to shut down. It takes the removal of the substance to return the feeling and control of her person. She also requires lots of food intake and rest to gain full recovery.
