Elena Cresswell

A Hawkins native, she loves (for a while) cheerleading and trying to be a positive influence for those around her.

She's pretty kind and considerate but can, and will beat you up if you bully any of her friends or press her. 

• Born and raised in Hawkins to an affluent family, all Elena wanted was to get the hell out of there. Her parents weren't the worst, but they weren't the best either. They never encouraged her interests but instead wanted to see her as a perfect daughter, so she joins the cheer team and tries her best to be the popular, well-loved daughter they want her to be. She even dates Steve Harrington, which is met with so much approval from her parents. They split amicably though, after she realizes that they're just dating each other for status. They remain friends and she becomes quick friends with Robin as well after coming to Scoops Ahoy to pester Steve on his lunch breaks. However, in her senior year, she takes notice of Eddie. In her gawking, she really admires how open and free he is just being himself and it inspires her to quit cheerleading and they become fast friends, bonding over art and "weird" topics.

  Ellie's favorite music consists of The Cure, The Smiths, and Kate Bush. She enjoys drawing, mostly floral/more abstract colorful art. She also enjoys to read and is trying her best to learn how to play DND with the boys.
