Twix

Twix is known for his store. With its odd collection and homey feel, it is a place of gathering for the town's locals, especially on quiet nights to enjoy coffee and conversation among the shelves. Twix is a friendly and lax owner. He is good-natured and kind, always with a smile on his face and a polite tone in his voice. As a shop keeper, he is quite knowledgeable. Some suspect he has read every book he's ever stocked, as he always seems to know the perfect book to suit someone's interests, or can determine which title someone is referring to by even a vague description. He knows where every book is on the shelf, and is always happy to help someone find something good to read.

Twix is lax in nature. When walking into his store, it is likely you'll find him lounged behind the counter, reading or even napping. He is always relaxed, and often too much so, daydreaming or wandering off topic. He is quite disorganized, and it shows in his store-- though he knows where everything is, it is next to impossible for anyone else to find their way around, even after shopping there for years. Twix is an extremely kind individual, and will do anything for his friends or customers. His fur is always a mess, and he generally looks tired, as though he could lay down his head anywhere and instantly fall asleep. He is active within the town, and is known by most of the locals; often joining them for coffee or lunch. He loves the views of the mountains his own offers him, though hiking to see more of the mountains is far too much work. He sleeps in most days and is often seen drinking tea or coffee.

Twix was born to artisan parents; in their kingdom, it was a relatively middle-class and comfortable life. In his youth, Twix was enrolled in tutoring, learning to read and write. It was reading that he quickly fell in love with. He spent countless hours at the kingdom's main library, reading everything he could. However, while some pursued scholarly avenues, he preferred fiction, to read the great stories written by mysterious writers. He quickly became known as a great source of information on fiction books. While he was offered a position writing about these books for the kingdom, this was never Twix's life, and he turned down the offer.

Instead, Twix decided to become a merchant. He was never a hard worker nor a determined individual; instead, he mostly wanted to read and share books with others in a casual manner. This was his reasoning for choosing to run a bookstore instead. He could ready and suggest books to his customers without need to take on a more academic role in the world. He eventually outgrew his small initial bookstore and bought a larger shopfront in a busy town. He has been running his shop since then; accumulating all sorts of books and oddities.
