Profile
Fire-Bringer
Drawing Notes: Generally, Aatos does not smile, and shows very little outward emotion. He can spit fire and exude fire from the slits on his side. His anatomy is tiger-like, though a bit lankier than the average tiger-- however, this is not very specific. He can be drawn with or without pupils.
Aatos, born of a tiger and a demon, lived his life in exile due to fear of his heritage. Upon his mother's death, he turned his efforts to seeking revenge on those who would cast him out. Using his fire powers to terrorize those who he disagrees with, Aatos is a dark and unpredictable soul.
Aatos does not experience empathy for those who he attacks. His need for revenge is held very close to his heart; protecting him from the consquences of his actions. Though his ultimate goal is to gain information from mortals in order to find the tribe that banished his mother, he will light small fires to terrorize those who he senses have ill will and impure hearts, damaging towns or crops without physically harming mortals.

Personality
Aatos is a wild card. His attitude can change suddenly, blown by what is around him like a flame in the wind. His anger is uncontainable, unstoppable when it ignites. He is constantly listening to the words of those around him and rarely speaks. Some believe he is almost entirely mute, though it is unknown by most whether his silence is willfull. He judges those around him based on almost nothing, and seeks vengeance at anything he disagrees with. He acts without really thinking about consequences, and is very cunning; always able to see revenge on those he wishes harm. For those who manage to catch him long enough to exchange a word with him, a cold personality comes through. There is not an ounce of compassion in his bones.
Aatos is ruthless and often heartless. He feels no empathy for those he encounters in the world; to him, they are no different than the grass underfoot, and are just as transient. He has no intention of meeting anyone again, and as such has no reason to act with anything even resembling kindness. He has no belief that he should present the best image of himself and therefor says as he pleases.
Aatos is driven by revenge. He holds his feelings of anger and hatred close to his heart, deep within himself; while his need for revenge is held within and never vocalized. To him they are intimate, his relationship with his vile hatred for the world the only relationship he has left. While he is most driven by his central need for revenge against the tribe he was born into, he is able to find something to be angered about at any moment. He is very watchful of others, observing with ease their own motivations and faults. He uses these faults to justify acting as he wished, never holding himself back from inflicting pain where he sees fit.
A wanderer, Aatos travels the land alone, simply moving as though by diffusion. When he encounters someone, he observes their action, watching from afar. This act alone sends shivers down the spines of most, and they seek to avoid him as they would avoid a monster in the night. Aatos will often follow, gaining what information he can, and if he senses hatred in the hearts of those he watches, he may set fire to that area of forest, damaging a town or a field of crops. His goal is to find the information he needs to locate every individual that chased away his dear mother, he only one who ever expressed love for him, and exact revenge for her loss.

Summary
Early Life
Aatos's mother was a member of a traditional and fearful tribe who lived in constant vigilance for the presense of demons and magic users who were perceived to be a threat to the land. Cautionary as the tribe was, when a stranger started to hang around the neck of the words, Aatos's mother found herself drawn to the mysterious stranger. Though such meetings on the tribe's territory was against tribe law, her actions were hidden through a general dissatisfaction with the harsh rules, making the stranger all the entrancing. Over the weeks, she found herself falling in love with this strange tiger. However, this stranger's tales of adventure and title that he had been touting turned out to be lies. It was discovered that he was not some great tiger, but instead a demon taking the form of Aatos's mother's species, hoping to lure unsuspecting and innocent individuals into his trap. Aatos's mother was broken when she learned the true identity of her love, the lies she had been fed and bought into fully. In terror and in shame, she returned to her tribe and tried to hide the relationship entirely, though this soon proved impossible: she was already pregnant offspring.
She gave birth to a single cub. When the tribe discovered Aatos's true heritage, he and his mother were banned from the tribe as a measure to protect the lands from any other demons who might approach with deceitful ways. Too young to recall this, Aatos only knew the suffering he and his mother faced together. They were forced to scrounge for food whenever they could, never quite finding enough to satisfy their hunger. Every moment was spent looking over their shoulders as Aatos's mother never knew who might be after her only child in an attempt to end his life for his very existence. It didn't help that Aatos was never a pleasant child; he was fascinated by fires, and when he learned that he could light his own with his demon blood, he often lit fires just to watch them burn.
Loss of his Mother
His mother's sanity became more and more fragile over the years. She was afflicted with the knowledge that she had been tricked by her one love to bear his demonic offspring, and the knowledge that his son was an abomination to the lands. She loved him dearly, but he was also the object of all of her hatred; his existence had ruined her life and caused her to be chased from the lands, his existence was the reason she constantly felt a deep fear in her heart, his existence was the reason she was always starving and cold and alone. Everything that made her who she was started to slip away, her very personality and being eroding in front of Aatos's eyes. He was yet to young to live on his own, and could only watch, not quite knowing what was happening until later in his life. It was around the time that he became able to survive on his own that she slipped away, her physical health slipping away with her mind.
Revenge
Aatos turned his fury for her loss to those who he believed had wronged them- the tribe who, as his mother said, was the cause of all their pain, who had doomed them both because of his blood. He knew well that his mother had suffered so dearly all because to protect him, and this turned into blind fury. Too young at the time to know where he was born, Aatos instead wanders the earth, passing judgement over whoever he deems necessary of it. He listens silently to the affairs of others, always watching, and satisfying his need for revenge whenever he perceives a wrong in the world. He uses his demonic powers to start forest fires to burn away those he feels are unworthy of the earth. Erratic and often out for himself, he finds joy in simple running through dry brush and spitting fire from his sides, knowing the destruction in his wake. His corrupted morals are known to change with the winds, but the one goal he keeps with him is to return to the land where he was born to seek his revenge.
