Hoshi is a little hot headed but he means well. He's always raring for a fight but he also gives surprisingly good advice. Despite his unique disposition he's actually quite smart. Unfortunately he can be a bit loud sometimes but he just wants to live life to the fullest, and that means living like every day like it's his last. He wants to go out with no regrets, but it's possible he already has some regrets of his own. Perhaps thats why he's like this, but it's purely speculation from his teammates. He's actually the most outgoing out of all of them, he's ready to make friends with just about anyone, especially if they've got saki.
