Personality: Varani is usually very goal-oriented but can become very badly distracted by leisurely pleasures. The lazier she can be, the better. She relishes just how much water is on Nexus, and how easy it is to get to.
History Overview: The Ironblood Clan has been in decline for generations. Ever since a former patriarch was caught and punished for scheming to overthrow and absorb the Bloodfires. The Ironbloods were once respected warsmiths, but attempt after attempt to prove themselves and restore honor to the clan, Varani has been left the eldest living member. And as such, has become the young head of a dying house.
Varani's ambitions are not unlike those of her parents, or her grandparents'. She's come to Nexus and brought along her younger siblings and cousins for one final push for greatness. The Ironbloods will be celebrated once more, or they will go out in a final burst of glory rather than fizzle away in some backwater town's forges. The minerals of Nexus have become of particular interest to her. As have rumors that one ancient race of Nexus might have the means to properly forge with exanite...
Faction Opinion: The Exiles are foes to prove oneself against, but secondary to her goals. She finds them to be background noise that may occasionally be exploited for favor among the other Draken clans, but not something generally worth the Ironbloods going out of their way after.
