Calvin...is an interesting person, the man has a foul mouth and has no filter, he will mock people without any hesitation if they push enough buttons. He's also quite the complainer and won't hesitate to let people know that he isn't satisfied with whatever is going on and what should be done instead. It's quite surprising that he even has friends due to his very negative nature. But if someone manages to be on his good list, they would learn that he is quite a caring person and does care about the wellbeing of others...he's just aggressive about it. Though he does tone down his negativity around those he cares about, it's not fully stopped and he will still point out stupidity and such. He will also be protective and keep people safe as he has the skills and smarts to keep others out of danger whether it be fighting head on, or coming up with an escape plan, he can be relied on to keep someone safe.

A Candle is Lit

A man created from magic and wax to a couple who wanted a child but weren’t able to conceive one of their own, and therefore used their skills in magic to create Calvin, and would later down the line create Cassie who would be Calvin’s younger sister. And with this, a family full of love but also one full of eccentricities.

Because the castle they lived in was quite large and was under the effects of magic, it would be easy for any outsider to become lost and never seen again. To make sure that didn’t happen, Calvin would end up taking the job of being a castle guide to visitors since he had a keen sense of direction and can remember the layout of the castle, even when it ended up changing at times. He didn’t mind this job exactly, but at the same time he’d get fed up with those who tended to stray away from him, leading him to have to search for those people.

Things would get much more wild for Calvin when his little sister Cassie wanted to experience the outside world and even had the support of their parents to follow her dreams. Being an older and over protective brother though, Calvin wasn’t having any of it, though it wouldn’t be enough to stop his sister’s strong will and she would still end up leaving which left Calvin with no choice but to follow after her and make sure she doesn’t get into trouble.

• Can't handle water at all, normal water isn't too much of a bother, but magical water just makes him crave death
