trick is a college student majoring in art, but they're currently taking a semester off to... fuck around honestly. they kind of have a job; their mom owns a used book store, they work in it sometimes (aka sit around reading comics or watching netflix, taking too many smoke breaks, and turning up to work a little drunk and/or stoned). they get money from that and by doing artsy shit and selling it, like zines and buttons on etsy and in the bookstore. their 'zines' are pretty much just tiny comics.

other than working in the bookstore and drawing, they like to fuck around on guitar, play the good ol' dungeons & dragons with their friends, and going on adventures (which can mean anything from roping their friends into walking around in the woods with them to just driving to mcdonalds at 3am).

they're really loyal to their friends and can be super encouraging to them, but they also have a tendency to be really fucking petty. on top of just being generally envious of their friends, a lot of the time they also are super unsympathetic and easily annoyed if people don't agree with them, tell them to do something, or if they think their friends are having a better time with someone else. this usually manifests itself in serious passive-aggression and sarcasm, as they hate confrontation but will snap if they get pushed too far.

trick is really great at setting their mind to something and doing it no matter what, but the downside of that is they're stubborn as fuck and won't listen when someone tries to talk sense into them. they refuse to be respectful if they don't think someone deserves it (i.e. doesn't respect their elders just because they're old, etc), except if they want something or are lying. they're a great liar and they can be fake polite as hell.

for the most part, with all the falling over from skateboarding (they're awful at it but getting better), running around in the woods, and painting, they pretty much look like some sort of art hobo who just crawled out of the woods to do witchcraft or something. on top of ripping their clothes naturally and getting paint on them, they cut up and distress all their clothes. almost every shirt they own has been crudely chopped into a crop top and its anyone's guess whether they just wore out their shirts enough that they're falling apart or if they did it on purpose. trick pretty much only wears boots, which they say is because of Adventuring, but its really mostly an aesthetic choice too. if they aren't wearing boots, they probably have on some sneakers that are more for looks than fuctionality or some good ol' converse high tops. they wear a lot of mismatched socks and knee socks, which also somehow tend to get a little bit hole-y.

they almost always are wearing some kind of layers, whether it be just a jean jacket or flannel or something. the only exception is if it's so hot they can't, in which case they'll still normally have some kind of jacket or overshirt in their bag or tied around their waist. when its colder they can normally be spotted in a jacket over a cardigan over a flannel over a shirt or sweater, or some kind of ridiculous thing like that. it's a rare occasion that all of them actually match, but they somehow make it work. not to be limited to their top half, they also tend to wear fishnets and tights often under shorts or especially fucked up jeans, and sometimes knee socks on top of their tights.

trick's favourite things of all are probably horror and music. they're super into older or more campy horror movies, not so much into the stuff that's just extreme gore or full of jumpscares. one of their favourite things is writing out extensive scary campaigns when they dm for their friends. music-wise, they listen to anything from metal to punk to some emo. they love doom metal, punk that leans more towards grunge and metal, and the more hardcore scream-y kind of emo. they also sometimes are unapologetically into pop punk and synthpop type stuff, but you won't catch them wearing merch for it.
