Speaking trait: A LOT OF YELLING. Isn't really eloquent and there's a lot of growling and hissing, one might think she's gone feral.

Character traits: Not really bright, obedient to those she sees as her authority and a pain in the ass to the rest, easily offended, will mimic those she looks up to.

Specific traits: Likes climbing bigger gems and riding on them (and hiding behind them in fights), is very lost and confused without any orders, will try to eat anything and anyone she meets on her way, is smaller than canon Ruby, can't remember war too well.

Backstory (short version)

---

Age:

0: Bornmade in the middle of Earth colonisation on Homeworld as a part of one Benitoite platoon - platoon full of mini-soldiers whose main purposes were simple sabotage missions! They're easy to produce, so sending them to certain death is not a problem. Taught to obey whoever they are assigned to, no matter what.

200+: Sent with mission to Earth after many years of being contained to basically blow up one of the rebellion's bases, and probably get shattered in the process. Survives by pure luck, but, having not been given any orders for after she had finished her mission, she's pretty lost on the battlefield, with only the idea that she's supposed to fight for Homeworld. Tries that. Gets poofed a lot with how unexperienced and small she is. Flees to the ocean, as it seems to be a place less infested with gems and easier to hide in.

2000+: Having spent most of the war and then some in the ocean, most of the time as a gem alone as well (she'd bite the gem out of her knee to self-poof whenever she thought she was in danger), she conjured up a plan to survive.Obviously a very simple one - observing fishies around and self-poofing gave her the idea of trying to do the same to a gem that might try to attack her. Decides to leave the ocean as well and starts spending time mostly in caves and on beaches, trying to eat whatever she thought was dangerous to her.

5400+: At this point after many poofings and eating various things, among them a few corrupted gems she stumbled upon, she can barely recall that there was any war, but is still very hostile towards everything. Until she meets Black Opal - a gem that did not act hostile (despite her trying to eat them at first), but instead offered peace and help. Beni agrees, fascinated by the stranger, especially after discovering that their weapon seemed to be a bigger version of her own (a bow and arrows).

5500+: Black Opal and Benitoite become very good friends, she opens up at the world a little bit thanks to him (even though she's still a very savage being), she looks up to him a lot and brings him a lot of gifts from her escapades, ranging from grass to poor animals. They even fuse by accident, but BO, being a Homeworld gem as well, tell Beni to quickly forget it and is too embarrased by it to even tell Beni what a fusion is or how it works.

let's say 5687: Beni finds a gem, brings it to Black Opal. Gem turns out to be Agate, who upon reforming (and being trapped by them) reveals themselves to be a General. They're big and strong and scary, and Beni starts treating them as a General indeed, much to Black Opal's dismay. The three gems become kinda friends not really and live in a cave, beating up any other gem that might be nearby.

5688: A LOT OF STUFF HAPPENS. Powerthirsty Agate turns on BO and Beni and poofs BO to deliver them to White Opal in exchange for an army. It was all a fraud and Agate ends up cracked, and Beni is alone. She flees to the ocean as she did at the war and sits there for a while before deciding to man up and find BO and save them. Is currently in the middle of the saving process. Doesn't even know where BO or WO is. And still trusts Agate to be her General even though the gem betrayed BO and is now a cracked mess.
