This chronic people-watcher found herself fortunate enough to begin her life in the bustling city of Zenovia, where there are plenty enough people and sights to keep herself occupied even on the most dreary of days. From the very beginning, it only seemed as if Stormi was drinking in everything around her, watching every movement and action as a baby and even up into her toddler years. Many adults found it quite unnerving, having a little pair of eyes on them at any given point, but of course, due to her age, it was quickly forgiven in the hopes that the observant little girl would grow out of the habit eventually. Much to their dismay, Stormi continued to stare, her parents reprimanding her constantly for staring so plainly in the open and those on the streets, doing everything they could to dissuade her from her gawking. Her teachers despised the constant staring, sometimes even going to such lengths as to block her view with cardboard presentation boards or the like.

Even after Stormi graduated, she couldn't help herself, watching and observing those around her when something or someone piqued her interest. The friends who stuck around and didn't mind her little habit suggested birdwatching, taking her on weekend trips to Firefly Valley to get a closer look at the flora and fauna without the towering and bright skylines of Zenovia. This seemed to curb most of her desire to stare at other people, but not by much, due to Zenovia's major lack of birds who are strong enough to endure Grento's harsh climates. Still, Stormi's friends make it a habit of bringing her to the valley to do some birdwatching from time to time, hoping to prove to her that there is more to life than just watching others live their own.
