Fawna

Fawna's mate, Baron, was the strongest deer in the forest, and was well-respected by many. After Fawna gave birth to his son, Hart, however, things got a bit tougher.

Hart was born a runt, which many deer believed he should be killed as he was a "waste of resources." However, because of his father's influence, no one would stand against him. It wasn't until Baron was shot and killed by a hunter when defending his mate and son that they started acting out against Hart, and Fawna protected her son with her life.

Trying to protect him isn’t always easy, however, because of how adventurous Hart is. He’s always slipping away from Fawna, and this typically ends in him getting hurt by other deer who resent him. She still tries her hardest to keep him safe despite this though.

Like most deer, she's kind of scatterbrained, and she shares the same thoughts about other forest creatures that other deer do. One thought in particular is that she believes dinquigons are forest dragons/monsters that eat all creatures they come across. Upon meeting Kirin for the first time- after she saves Hart- Fawna's thoughts are dismissed as Kirin teaches her that dinquigons are here to protect her and the other animals, and that the real forest monsters like Chroma are what she should be worrying about.

 She eventually goes on to teach other deer about the dinquigons through Kirin's stories and the stories Hart tells her from the time he spends with Kirin.
