Profile

Once a highly decorated (but retired) Shooter admiral with a massive collection of beautiful-to-him slaves (mostly gladiators), after being slain during a revolt he came back as a decidedly vampiric robber (although he isn't entirely clear as to why).

Death and mutilation changed very little about his personality, save that he now reacts poorly to having his face touched and is somewhat nervous around other robbers (the slave that killed him (and, later, took his eye) was a robber gladiator). He is a hedonist to his core, although not in ways that are immediately obvious from appearance as his long military career left him with a preference for relative minimalism, and his current residence, while superficially abandoned, is stocked with the luxuries he adored in life. He's not lazy, though. He doesn't really hold grudges; the robber that killed him was a unique case, and even then his feelings toward the matter are more akin to doing a necessary but unpleasant job. He's very pleasant, polite, and affable with very few exceptions, and most of those exceptions are those he gets too friendly with too quickly out of lust. He's extremely social and if given the chance will talk your ear off for hours (or let you talk his ear off, he's not picky), and if asked questions about almost anything will give honest answers and true information to the best of his ability, the sole exceptions being the circumstances of his death and eye loss (which he honestly says he's not comfortable talking about), why there are so many traps around the manor (he actively lies and says they're left over from the previous owner) and if he'll ever let someone leave (he redirects the conversation into what's bothering the questioner, with the pretense of solving the issue). Just don't get him started on his interests; he tends to talk about them in a really torrid manner because he's a big weirdo. He's extremely vain and selfish, and while he talks a big game about how open-minded he is... he kept slaves in life, and actively entraps people in death.

See, he prefers to seduce his prey and keeps something of a small "menagerie" of victims, a pale mimicry of the many dragons he used to own. This practice means he rarely needs to seek new prey, although he often hunts just to have his unique sense of aesthetics fulfilled by a new addition. The forest surrounding his manor is heavily trapped to make this easier for him.

While it isn't something he brags about, he is a skilled military mind and is generally very cunning.

He speaks in a very soft, high, raspy tenor, and he rarely raises his voice, especially to his beloved menagerie. He is in general remarkably soft-spoken and safe-seeming considering his background, which makes it that much easier for him to convince frightened, lost stardragons to stay forever.

His "aesthetics" primarily revolve around someone or something being obviously able to kill him; he straight up gets horny over displays of killing power and signs that a person survived a life-threatening situation at one point. He used to have a particular fondness for robbers; after his death that attraction is heavily tempered with genuine fear, which really just makes him even hornier about it. The only thing that kept him from obtaining a severblight robber in life was that he didn't know they existed.

He normally wears finely made but slightly out-of-date clothing and a mask that covers the right half of his face (or, in situations where the mask is unreasonable, an illusion); the scars and resulting nerve damage wound his pride too deeply to leave them uncovered.

His soul gem is very small, and he has more than once just kinda... popped it out of the holes in his chest. He considers it more of a curiosity than anything; it's too fragile and heavily cracked to actually do anything with.
