Hitsujibungaku
Copper is a third-generation anthro who's known among her community as a cheery hard worker, who would do anything to support others. Among friends, they are known for their punk-rock rebel spirit. In a city-state where magic and magic users are constantly at risk, Copper runs the "Crescent Moon Coffeeshop" as a front for the magic safehouse and artifact archive she protects. Magic users in the Lumos area appreciate her work and frequently replace her protective wards. Among magic users her coffee shop is known as the safest place in the city.
Prior to her current work, Copper worked as a veterinary technician for the non-sapient animals. She loved her work and rescued two goo-creatures during her time there: a one-eyed Gumdrop (Odin) and a sharky Gastrosnap (Zeb). Her veterinary work suddenly ended when she was bit by an injured emergency patient and contracted the magical disease of Lycanthropy. She is well managed, but by law she is unable to work in any field where she may be exposed to disease vectors.
- Her father is a stag and her mother is a mutt (canine). She is not close to either of them.
- Copper is not a magic user, but has a strong sense of 'energy' in others. This gives her incredible intuition.
- Actively spreads awareness for magical diseases. She's a spokesperson and the posterchild for lycanthropy.
She is incredibly kind and wears her heart on her sleeve. This occasionally gets her into trouble, but she'll happily take the trouble if it means she gets to care for her people.
She makes her feelings known. If she is happy, her energy brightens a room. If she's sad the world seems to go dull. Her body language is free and loose, and she never makes an effort to disguise her emotions.
She will never take care of herself like she'll care for another. At her worst, she is self-depricating and insecure, and nothing seems to help her heal.
