He seeks to find a cure for his species, be it potion making from Ace or otherwise. He desires to find a way to reduce the pain his species are in, in any way he can. Many of his kind are on this journey now that they've been free for a few generations. He is not alone, but he hates the way he feels when he sees another of his kind on the same journey.
