Speaking trait: Has Adam Young's voice! Will be quiet and slowly building up to an outburst if you talk about his cybernetics. If drunk, he'll talk like a drunk, obvs.

Character traits: Very self-aware of his cybernetics, moody, oftentimes switches between being a total grump and a total sweetheart real quick, a romantic, slightly paranoid, clean freak.

Specific traits: Alcoholic, ships people, walks barefoot, edgy af, always has cheekhair and ear hair and all of his fur neatly trimmed due to his clean thing, alcohol makes him either more flirty or more grumpy, or both, his fear of people thinking he's an emotionless robot and not a Mobian being makes him often act in such a way that he gets people to feel uncomfortable, which makes them dislike him and question if he's alright at all, which drives his fear further. Lovely!

metal limbs don't hurt and can't be easily broken! They're also immune to things like acids

Weaknesses:

can't summon said wing and DOESN'T EVEN HAVE BOTH WHAT A RIP OFF
phantom pains, though they mainly bother him when he's alone and/or during night

Backstory(short version)

Age:

0: Born to a family of wolf mom and cat dad and wolf brother! His fur is black at first but will gradually turn almost snow white when he's adult, it's a family trait.

1: His grandparent he was named after dies and becomes grim reaper. Doesn't wanna choose his daughter to be the next one to mega evolve after death because it's kinda a hassle and sucks, so chooses Ernest instead, skipping a generation.

9: Younger sister is born! That's all the biological children in the family. All are soon-to-be white furred wolves with green eyes, like their mother. And their grandparents. And their grandgrandparents. Good.

11: Visits his dad's lab quite often, it's a place where they research powers and overall energy stuff. Dad has a weird hobby of adopting children from the street quite often. It's how Ernest gets two more brothers: Leo and Felix, who he gets along with really well. Ernest helped him find the name for himself, even! After all, Ed isn't around too much, and Nora is too young to play with, so Felix can be his younger playmate instead!

15: Oh right, the patagonian mara had the unfortunate luck to be a testing bunny for 'awakening powers inside due to genetic potential'. Dad had weird ideas, ever since grandpa Star died, especially.

15-19: Felix is gradually becoming more and more of a screw up, with no nerves, no emotions, and slowly gaining love for nihilistic philosophies and is kinda less of a fun young brother. Meanwhile, Ernest is developing his passion for writing. He has good grades in maths and science, yeah, but it doesn't really speak to him that much. Though dad is rather insistent that he should follow in his family's footsteps and pursue a scientific career. After all, poetry won't save a person's life, but a surgery could. So if Ernest is this good at science... it'd just be a waste if he'd become a writer instead, right? It'll be better for everyone if he chooses to study on.

19-21: Intense studying chemistry stuff and not living at hometown because of that but rather in a hall of residence far far awayyyy.

21: The town he studies in is Eggman'd, there's robots and corpses everywhere and he kinda loses some body stuff. Now that's where things get ridiculous, because he should die, but he doesn't. Because his grim reaper gramps comes by ready to pick up some corpses, but upon noticing his grandson he decided that he's gonna cheat and not let him die just yet. And so he refuses to reap Ernest Jr's soul and just defends him from various soul-liking creatures (because I think we can agree that there's a ton of that considering the amount of demon lore n stuff) for a few hours, even though Ernest would very much appreciate a death right then, considering the ammount of pain he's in. Luckily, he goes unconscious. And then he's comatose. It's great.

22: 1,5 years later he wakes up with half his body gone in the hospital which is just delightful. He's greeted by Flix, and then family, and then has to spend quite some time in that hospital either way because getting used to the fact that he didn't have some parts was very painful and sorrowful and bad.

23: Family gathers up monies for metal body parts! It's great! HE CAN GO CONTINUE STUDIES AFTER LEARNING TO USE THEM! THANK TECHNOLOGY!

25: Finishes off studies and starts working at dad laboratory, also meanwhile casually drinking a bit more and more erryday. It soothed the pain! AND mind! I mean, it was either that, or a ton of pills. Either way he's destroying his body - so why not do it the fun way? On the good side, he also got his love to keeping everything + himself clean as a weird aftereffect of the whole traumatic adventure as well.

26: Speaking of not judging, the facility starts accepting patients and apart from power researching they also help people with their powers now, training and fixing and deleting them. He does not show his face to the patients and just works on his chemicals and that's very handy for him, very good.

27: Dragging Flixter outside more in an attempt to get him to be more life and not death. Also, meets Snowflake, falls in love very instantly, she seems to not hate him too so that's great.

28: Meets more people himself, most either make an awful first impression or get an awful first impression of him. His crushes fade in and out, but he's got some new friends! Such as Grey. Grey's great. He keeps writing, just for himself, in a little locked room in his house. It's soothing, even if pointless. And he can help Nora with her own songs... And maybe he could help Flix open up again, after all he has been through. Maybe it can still be fine.
